Membership Luncheon

The annual Membership Luncheon was scheduled for February 3 at Moraine Country Club. This year’s theme expressed the fact that Opera Guild of Dayton is the wind behind the sails of Dayton Opera.

There were two sets of orchestra seat tickets for The Daughter of the Regiment donated by Dayton Opera for the Membership luncheon.  One set of two tickets went to new member Susan Gruenberg who joined the Guild at the luncheon.

We also had a 50-50 Raffle in honor of the Dayton Opera’s 50th anniversary.  First prize was 50% of the proceeds of the raffle which was won by Sue Falter.  The other 50% went to the Opera Guild for support of our many programs.  Second prize of the other set of orchestra seats to The Daughter of the Regimentwent to Betty Holton. There were many more door prizes including a gift basket called Too Hot to Handle and gift certificates to Coco’s, Whispers and Always Ballroom.
