Dayton Opera was founded in 1960 and is the region’s only professional opera company. Annually it produces three fully staged opera productions and one Star Gala concert presentation. Dayton Opera is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that receives funding from individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies.
